Masterclass Vertical tasting
Half a day to travel in Champagne time
This unique experience allows you to taste the evolution of Champagne over time, from the latest 3-year-old vintage to a 25-year-old champagne. You will be picked up in Reims or Epernay and driven back to your accommodation in complete safety. A winemaker will be waiting for you in his private home in a champagne village. The tasting will take place in a dedicated room overlooking the terrace of Grand Cru vineyards, where you will taste only Grand Cru Champagnes. You will start with a young Blanc de blancs vintage and Blanc de noirs vintage to identify Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Next, you will taste a 8-year-old Champagne, a 10-year-old Champagne, a 15-year-old Champagne, and a 25-year-old Champagne from the Champagne house's old cellar. With the guidance of the winemaker you feel the evolution of the taste from fruity to complex.
